Whispers from the Universe

Just wanted to drop a quick post here with some news. My story—"Smoke Signals"—appears in a new anthology that's out today.

Whispers from the Universe

The title of this post sounds more like something that would be published over at my other blog: the unruly buddha. But, no, I've put this one in the right place. So, here's the news: my story—"Smoke Signals"—appears in a new anthology that's out today. Here's a link: Whispers from the Universe: A Collection of Short Stories.

While I'm obviously biased, Propertius Press seems like a great group of folks. Take a gander at their about page. They are a Southern, not-for-profit press who seek to elevate writers who are BIPOC,* and they pay their authors 40% of the net proceeds from the sales of their books. All wonderful things!

If you'd like to know more about Propertius Press, please do check out their site. You can also follow them on Twitter: @PropertiusPress.

If you like what you see and you want to support them, then buy a copy of the anthology. Read "Smoke Signals," and let me know what you think!

* To be clear: I do not belong to the BIPOC community, but I am glad to be associated with a group who thinks about these sorts of things.
